Shenkar Students Selling Spectacular Stuff

Shenkar College is all about creating things – having an idea and turning it into an amazing something. But that is not enough. You have to market yourself and display and sell your genius creations.

Yesterday I saw that happening at the Kanyon Ayalon (Ayalon Shopping Mall). Smiling students selling sensational art and design products that they had initiated and produced.

Oddly enough, the mall is owned by Danna Azrieli, a major donor to Shenkar for many years. I wonder whether she was ‘in the know’.

The event was organized by the Student Authority of Shenkar, rather than the administration. It’s great when the students take the initiative. I was super thrilled (but it shows in the pictures, doesn’t it?). If there is something you like, let me know and I will try to find the talented student for you. Unless they’ve already sold everything!
