“I hate smoke, and I always will keep hating it!”, these are my words whenever I see smoke.
2
3
I always kept asking myself why do I hate smoke this much, and in every time the answer explodes into my face.
4
5
It is because that smoke remind me of a sad memory about my grandmother, who passed away few months ago.
6
7
My grandmother passed away after a year of suffering; she suffered from loss of bronchitis; which happened as a result of the smoke.
8
9
Since her prime of youth, my grandmother used to work in the fields with her family; she worked in planting tobacco, and she also worked in making oil soap; which contained felled smoke, which led to affect her health.
10
11
I still cannot believe that she is gone, I remember her always.
12
13
My grandmother used to sing us songs all the time, I definitely remember the song’s lyrics by heart, but I cannot also deny remembering how her ability of singing gradually faded away, and it all because of smoke.
14
15
My grandmother got disappeared quickly, just as quickly as the smoke spatters in the air.
16
17
She is gone, but her memory will be engraved in my heart eternally.
18
19
My grandma death made me realize how short life it is; it goes through like a blink of an eye.
20
21
I have changed a lot since then; I began to appreciate each precious moment and take advantage of it, because nothing lasts forever. It all spatters in the end, just like the smoke.
22
23
I remember the first song my Grandmother sang to me. It happened a long time ago, on a cold winter night…
24
25
I was in my room, crying because my best friend had just moved away, and I didn’t have any other friends at school
26
27
My grandma came in and sang me a song about friendship. She told me I would make new friends soon.
28
29
It was the first time I realized that change might not be so bad…
30
31
My grandmother helped be believe things will get better. Thanks to her, I quickly made new friends!
