In January 1949, after World War 2, Pablo Picasso is asked to draw a symbol of peace. Picasso draws the outline of a dove with a green olive twig in its beak, remembering his childhood in Malaga.
In the Spring of the same year, the “DOVE OF PICASSO” is on all the walls of the cities in Europe.
