And even more…

Students were so eager to go on helping that I let them clean up some garbage that had been “accidentally” left around campus for a week.
That made them very excited.

Two students cleaned it up in a jiffy.
“Give use more”, they clamored. “We feel empowered”.

So I showed them a hole in the wall which some of our more creative students had turned into a built-in ashtray.
“That’s disgusting” they said. “Bring us some cement.”

Zion, from the logistics team, was up to the challenge. He mixed cement.
14
Zion taught two eager students how to apply the cement. They almost had a fistfight who would go first.

After the students went back to class, Zion stayed on and worked hard to cover the entire wall.

Then Yehuda said to me “That window over there is disgusting. Let’s clean it.”
So we did. By this time I was pretty exhausted.

But then Hagai Cohen wanted to replace a toilet cover in the jewelry faculty across the street. How could I say no? I didn’t. He did.
