Once upon a time in Africa, there was a baby elephant.
His name was Poppy.

One day his mum cried,’Run!’
Poppy didn’t understand.
‘Why’? he asked her.

‘Because I saw a frog!’ his mum said,
‘and all elephants are scared of frogs!’

What’s a frog?’ Poppy asked.
He went into the jungle.
‘Are you a frog?’

‘No, I’m a mouse!’

‘Are you a frog?’

‘No, I’m a lizard!’

‘Are you a frog?’

‘No, I’m a beetle!’

‘Are you a frog?’

‘No, I’m a caterpillar!’

Poppy found an animal near the lake.

‘Are you a frog?’

‘Yes! My name’s Bobo.’

‘Elephants are scared of frogs,’ Bobo said, ‘because we’re small!’
‘Frogs like jumping on their head…

Poppy was scared, but Bobo didn’t jump on his head.

Mum and the elephants came.
When they saw Bobo near Poppy they were unhappy.

They were angry with Poppy and scared of Bobo.
Poppy said, ‘Bobo’s my friend.’

All the elephants said:’frogs are good friends.’
